Costumes, soca, dancehall and liquor combined for an awesome time at Fete Republic Halloween that was held at Campion College, St Andrew, on Saturday.

Whether you were looking for scary, cute, sexy or simply confusing, almost any type of costume could be found at the event. What’s even better is that most of the patrons stayed in character for most of the night. The décor was also on point with skulls, cobweb and ghost all around the venue.

Brush 1 Chromatic brought lots of energy to the party.

Although he was dressed as some sort of a construction worker, Brush 1 Chromatic certainly brought life to the party after DJ Spinn finished his set. He had the patrons dancing up a storm to some of the latest dancehall songs. He even took on an additional role when he provided dancing instructions.

Devils, angels, students and construction workers were out in their numbers at Fete Republic. See more in the gallery below.

And after Brush 1 and Heavy D Chromatic thrilled with mostly dancehall songs, Bloodline Franco with Marlon Musique as host brought partygoers on a high with soca. However, the set was far from limited, as Franco also pleased with afrobeat and hip hop.

They made way for MD Lantern who tried his best to maintain the momentum. But by now, many patrons seemed all ‘danced out’ having used a lot of energy earlier in the night. The patrons were gradually leaving the event when the cops pulled the plug at almost to 3 a.m.
