JC have to wait for second-round start as Prison Oval matches are rained out

Jamaica College (JC) will have to make their entry into the second-round on another day, as their scheduled match with Hydel High at Spanish Town Prison Oval Thursday afternoon (Oct 24), was rained out.

In fact, both matches that were slated for the venue had to be postponed, as the rain also affected the first scheduled match of the day, between St Jago High and Charlie Smith.

JC, the 28-time champions, are among the six teams that have not lost any of their matches so far this season. The others are defending champions Kingston College (KC), St Andrew Technical High (STATHS), Camperdown, Wolmer’s and St George’s College.

JC are listed as one of the favourites to take the title again this year.
