Konshens to host event helping persons going through mental health issues

Through Delus Lived, a foundation launched to commemorate the passing of his brother Delus,  dancehall artiste Konshens will be hosting an event today in a bid to help persons going through various forms of depression.

The event dubbed ‘Talk Bout It’s is slated to be held at 22 Jerk on Barbican Road in Kingston and is scheduled to get going at 7:00pm. The event will be moderated by CK and will take the form of a story sharing session as its name suggests to talk about it.

The event is targeted at persons dealing with depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or any other mental issues with a distinct message that ‘You are not alone’.

Konshens has become a big advocate in terms of helping persons going through mental issues with the launch of his foundation in 2017.

He has received praise from persons on social media about the event, to include fellow entertainer Nailah Blackman, about the significance of such an event for persons going through those types of challenges.

Delus whose given name is Delmark Spence took his own life in 2016.
