Pussycat Dolls reunion costumes too raunchy for prime time

Just a few days after announcing their reunion, The Pussycat Dolls — the popular girl group of the 90s — had their comeback performance on the grand final weekend of the X Factor.

The Pussycat Dolls had not performed together since 2010. However, the performance was to be one the fans would enjoy, but not everyone was awe-inspired.

Many viewers took to Twitter to express their disappointment and disgust at the scanty outfits worn by the ladies as they danced and performed splits. Reports are that moms have branded the performance a strip show.

“Highly inappropriate content for this time of the evening. Pussy Cat Dolls look like they belong in a strip club, not for prime time family viewing,” Tweeted one viewer.

Another tweeted, “Whoever thought those outfits were a good idea for the Pussycat Dolls needs the sack. It’s 8:15 pm. Kids are awake. There’s no need for us to see half-dressed women, ever, let alone on family show at this time. It’s disgusting and misogynistic.”

Reports are that the group was clad in tiny pants and body suits that looked to be made of sheer material.
