Reggae Marathon all set for December 8

Come December 8, all eyes will be set on Negril, Jamaica where the annual Reggae Marathon is slated to take place.

On Wednesday (Oct 23), the official launch of the 2019 staging of the event was held. Attending the event was a number of persons to include Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Christopher Tufton.

Jamaica’s Minister of Health & Wellness, Dr Christopher Tufton joins members of the Reggae Marathon organizing team for some lens time.

The Minster lauded the initiative and stated that events like these promote wellness and the continuous fight against non communicable diseases (NCDs). 

The race which has taken place since 2001 is expected to draw a large contingent of runners from across the world who will compete for over a million dollars in cash and prizes.
