It was a partygoer’s worst nightmare when the police came and put an end to the fun patrons were having at Strictly 2K recently.

“God know? God know?,” the selector said at exactly 2:30 a.m. when the lawmen made their presence felt. Patrons were then instructed to finish partying at another event in the Corporate Area.

While that was not the way patrons would have wanted to leave Mas Camp, St Andrew, it did not take away from the fun they had with selectors like Trippple X, ZJ Chrome, Illusion Sound, Johnny Kool and Coppershot Disco.

Although the event didn’t begin with the highest energy, the patrons got into a frenzy when they heard songs like Busy Signal’s Picante and Tanto Blacks’ Budget. They formed a choir for the lovers’ rock songs from the 2000s, and they were uncontrollable when they heard the Vybz Kartel vs Mavado clash songs.

Luckily, the event wasn’t one dimensional and patrons also got their fill of soca and hip hop.
