UK heads to the polls on December 12

Well BUZZ fam we know what elections are like in our various Caribbean locales, but soon we will see the voters in the UK going to the polls.

Members of Parliament voted on Tuesday for early elections in December, after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for the people to exercise their franchise in light of the ongoing Brexit situation.

Boris Johnson, who has been elected the U.K.’s incoming prime minister, arrives at the Conservative Party’s headquarters in central London on Tuesday.

The Labour Party wanted to change the date to the 9th of December but MPs rejected the motion and opted for the 12th. Without doubt, we can expect fireworks coming out of this election, based on all the issues voters will be considering as they go to the polls.
