Waterhouse and Molynes United lost their unbeaten tag in the Red Stripe Premier League on Sunday. They were the only teams that were previously unbeaten.
Waterhouse, two-time winners of the title, went down 3-1 to hosts Mount Pleasant Football Academy at Drax Hall, while visitors Cavalier also handed a 3-1 loss to Molynes United at Waterhouse Stadium.
At Drax Hall, Jourdaine Fletcher and Francois Swaby netted in the 40th and 45th minutes for Mount Pleasant to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break.
Andre Fletcher provided hope of a Waterhouse comeback in the 81st minute, but Kesslon Hall secured the comfortable win for Mount Pleasant when he scored four minutes into second-half added time. While Waterhouse remain at the top of the points-standing on 19 points, the victory propelled Mount Pleasant two places up, to sixth on 10 points.
At Waterhouse Stadium, Chevone Marsh, Kamoy Simpson and Nicholas Hamilton scored in the 22nd, 42nd and 82nd minutes respectively to provide Cavalier with a cushion, which was reduced by Anthony Greenland two minutes into second-half added time. Molynes, in their first seven matches, had racked up six wins and one draw, which allowed them to remain second in the standing behind Waterhouse, while Cavalier leapt two places to be fourth.
