Dancehall deejay Aidonia took a minute out of his day yesterday to troll folks who believe he’s been evicted from his St Andrew residence.
In a video clip posted on his Instagram page, the deejay is seen dancing up a storm on the property, as his latest release Dat Eazy, produced by Chimney Records, plays in the background.
“Can the landlord of this property contact me urgently,” his caption read. “I’ve been hearing about you and I need your assistance with an issue!!!”
He completed the post with the hashtag “badmind is active in haters.”
His post came two days after a blog site posted allegations that he and his wife had been booted from the upscale residence because of outstanding rental fees. The post added that the property owners are considering a lawsuit to recoup the funds.
Aidonia’s wife, Kimberly Megan, had previously mocked the claim with a post captioned “watch evicted”. Aidonia’s peers and followers are continuing the trend.
“Pinky hide mi ID,” said Govana.
“Dutty badmine people cyaa get you out. Gweh wid dem evil head,” Skatta Burrell said, quoting the deejay’s Evil Head lyrics.
“#DisIsIt,” said Leftside.
“Watch nice house,” said another user.
The comments also bore shade towards incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel, with Aidonia laughing at a particular comment which read, “Think the landlord deh a Horizon enuh bro.”
Kartel had seemingly taken jabs at Aidonia following the eviction rumours with an Instagram story post which read, “Den ho it so hype n still a pay rent? Jus move bk een wid u parent.”
Aidonia subsequently posted a promotional clip of Dat Eazy with the shady caption “Me live inna dem brain RENT FREE!!!”
