Some 1,500 vehicles are expected to be displayed at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada which concludes on Friday (Nov 8). There’s plenty to distract the average enthusiast from the automotive goodness around them, so here are the top three cars from the first day (Wed, Nov 6) of SEMA 2019.
R35 Nissan GT-R
There’s an old joke about where Godzilla sits. The answer is anywhere he wishes. In this case, the question being asked is how low can Godzilla sit? The answer, as low as he wants, just like this R35 Nissan GT-R sporting Liberty Walk. The GT-R has been called Godzilla due to its monstrous performance capability.
Car two couldn’t be missed even if it wanted to. This Lamborghini Huracan from Fusion Motor Company runs the black and yellow theme throughout. The carbon fibre accents help to capture attention.
Lamborghini Huracan (all carbon fibre)
What’s better than some carbon fibre? How about all carbon fibre. It takes bravery to sit front and centre, but this Lamborghini Huracan — already special due to it being one of only three — has had all its body panels replaced by the stuff. The sense of cost and grandeur is obvious at a glance. The car sits — quite deservingly — at the entrance of the convention centre’s south hall, on the way to the media centre. This is directly in front of the most critical of persons, automotive journalists.
