“The real pandemic is crime and violence in Jamaica.” That’s the pronouncement coming from dancehall veteran Beenie Man.
His statement comes following the death of yet another woman who was kidnapped, raped, and killed.
While expressing his condolences to the family of the deceased Beenie Man demanded that justice be served.
“WE ARE NOT OK!!! OUR HEARTS ARE BLEEDING, OUR CHILDREN & WOMEN ARE NOT SAFE! This Nuh right Iyah! This nuh right. We need justice and a that we need,” he wrote on Instagram.
“Mi can’t imagine how I would feel if this was my daughter, but to how mi feel hurt right now, imagine the pain this family is going through.”
He was one of many from the dancehall fraternity who were insisting that justice be served. Many took to social media to share their outrage at the 20-year-old’s gruesome death.
