Beenie Man has pleaded not guilty to breaches of the Disaster Risk Management Act.
The dancehall act, born Moses Davis, submitted the plea when he appeared in the St Elizabeth Parish Court to today.
Beenie Man was served a summons last December for the staging of an event on November 29 which breached the Act.
The artiste was also issued a public warning by police after he was observed promoting a New Year’s Eve party on his Instagram page, which would also have been in contravention of the DRMA.
The deejay will stand trial when he reappears in court on April 19.
