Following the release of his third studio album, Picture Perfect, in August, reggae artiste Bugle has seen a steady upsurge in demand for his brand across the Diaspora.
Known for his prolific writing skills and thought-provoking delivery, the singer, who recently completed a promotional media blitz in Jamaica and US Tri-State Area, has attributed the career upswing to the intense campaign currently being undertaken.
“We definitely had a solid, well-received week of promotion.”— Bugle
After debuting at No. 4 on iTunes Reggae Album chart, within hours the 20-track compilation jumped to the No. 3 spot. Over on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, last week the singer occupied the No. 35 spot but has since climbed 15 places to No. 20.
And Bugle is pleased with the album’s progress.
“We definitely had a solid, well-received week of promotion. We got the people’s attention, and that’s what we were looking for. Thanks to all of the radio stations and everybody who participated to make this initiative work. Big up Irish and Chin, the whole An9ted team, Prism Marketing Consultants, VPAL Distribution and Spoonfed Entertainment. It makes me want to stay on the road and promote more,” he said.
Now back in Jamaica, plans are already afoot for a local launch of the album before Bugle jets off to Florida for the third instalment of his media campaign.
