Ce’Cile prepared to take COVID-19 vaccine

Dancehall artiste Ce’cile

Dancehall artiste Ce’Cile is ready to take the coronavirus vaccine as soon it’s available. She made the disclosure during an interview with the Jamaica Observer.

“I simply cannot afford to not take the vaccine. It is what it is,” she said.

The Give It To Me artiste admitted that she does have some concerns about the vaccine. But her desire for things to get back to normal overrules those reservations.

“I would have loved for it to be tested maybe for a few more years, unfortunately, we don’t have that time. I simply do not have a choice, for me it makes sense,” she said.

“I do not have the luxury of sitting in Jamaica and sleeping while I earn. It’s been a year of sitting…If anything, this pandemic has shown me is that I need to move more aggressive than I have ever been in my life and that means a lot of travelling. Even if I didn’t have to travel, I need to make sure I’m protected. Life needs to get back to normal.”

The entertainment industry has been badly hit by the coronavirus But Ce’Cile said she has used the opportunity rok on an EP.

“I have an EP coming out in late March to early April. It was done in tandem with ZJ Chrome on his ZJ Chrome Presents series.

Jamaica received its first shipment of vaccines of 50,000 vaccines on Monday.
