Driver who allegedly killed Nicki Minaj’s father turns himself over to police

The alleged hit-and-run driver who killed Nicki Minaj’s father in New York on February 12 has turned himself him.

This is according to reports by the New York Post. According to the outlet, the police are scheduled to hold a press conference on the arrest later this evening.

64-year-old Robert Minaj was walking in Mineola on Friday when he was struck around 6 p.m. The driver fled, according to Nassau County Police.

He was rushed to a local hospital and listed in critical condition. He then succumbed to his injuries over the weekend.

Nicki has not yet made a public statement on his death. The two reportedly had a fraught relationship.
