Hot Koffee! Artiste comfortably sitting on Billboard and UK Singles charts

Jamaican entertainer Koffee is riding high on a number of charts.

Koffee’s latest single, W, featuring rapper Gunna, has taken over the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Reggae Digital Song Sales chart. Released by Columbia Records, the track moved up from last week’s No. 8 position.

W has also given Koffee her second entry on the UK Singles chart, where it entered at number 89 last Friday. Her former entry, Toast, peaked at No. 70 in April.

Over on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Hybrid by Collie Buddz is the new leader, while Free Rein by Rebelution re-enters at No. 5.  Another re-entry is Everyday Life, Everyday People by Slightly Stoopid, a former chart topper. It hops back on to the chart at No. 8.

Collie Buddz is now at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

The sole new entry on the chart is Rudeboy: The Story of Trojan Records, a 24-track set, which features songs from the likes of Derrick Morgan, Justin Hinds and the Dominoes, The Maytals, Desmond Dekker and the Aces, The Upsetters, Ken Boothe and John Holt.
