Many music lovers might remember Jane Macgizmo’s soulful vocals after she was featured on Blazing, a track that was part of Koffee’s Rapture EP.
“It definitely propelled my growth as an artiste to collaborate with another dope artiste,” Jane said.
“Teflon linked up with Koffee once someone told him about her. I had a track from longtime that Tef had produced, and I told him he should let her have it because she can carry that fresh new sound for Jamaica for sure.”
Having gained more fans for her part on Blazing, Jane is gearing up to thrill listeners with Midas that will be released on Friday.
“Midas is an R&B dancehall track that speaks to how women can sometimes get lost in their relationships and let men stop them from doing what they want without realising,” Jane said, adding that the song is a letter to all women.
The song was produced by Teflon and SOS and engineered by Njay, while Dre Day did the mixing and mastering.
Jane, who broke on to the music scene in 2016 with Babylon that was followed by Too Late and One Away, is already gearing up to promote Midas. She also plans to release many more songs in 2020.
