New Orleans is said to be one of the most magical places on Earth, and maybe there was some energy floating around for Alisha Wainwright, as the actress, born to a Jamaican mother, was photographed locking hands with American singer-actor Justin Timberlake over the weekend.
The two, in The Big Easy shooting a new film called Palmer, insist the pictures are innocent as the images sent tongues wagging across social media.
More interestingly was the apparent lack of a wedding band on Timberlake’s hand as he and Wainwright mingled at a party on the balcony of The Absinthe House on Bourbon Street last Saturday (Nov. 23).
The 38-year-old Not A Bad Thing singer, and a slightly younger Alisha (30) play on-screen lovers in the football-themed drama – maybe this is an impromptu rehearsal?
Timberlake and Wainwright sat together in the corner of the balcony drinking alcohol and laughing.
Judging from images circulating on the internet, as the party approached midnight, Justin reached over, clutching the arm of the Raising Dion actress – born to a Jamaican mother and Haitian father – tenderly before she rested her hand on his right knee.
He wasn’t looking his best, based on the images, but Alisha seemed to light a spark in his eyes as he smiled, watching her dotingly.
The cameras never lie, as moments later, the two gripped hands tightly, sitting in relative comfort, more than content with just chatting and drinking.
Timberlake – who’s married to American actress Jessica Biel – upped the ante, placing both his hands around Alisha’s hourglass figure, adding more flame to a possible off-screen relationship.
What we know about the film…
Palmer follows Justin Timberlake in his role as Eddie Palmer – a former college football phenomenon named who returns to his hometown to get his life back on track, after serving time in prison.
Wainwright plays Timberlake’s opposite, Maggie Hayes, a school teacher who develops a relationship with Eddie.
What do you think, BUZZ fam? Could this be the start of something new for both actors, or is it as they say, ‘just innocent’?
