Koffee makes Barack Obama’s favourite songs of 2019 playlist

‘Gwaan wid it, gwaan wid it!’

Koffee and her feel-good smash hit single Toast return as a must-listen staple for former US President Barack Obama, in his list of favourite songs of 2019.

Obama, who released his 36-song list of favourite tracks on Monday (Dec. 30), says the lone Jamaican talent made a huge impression as the only Reggae feature on his playlist.

“From hip-hop to country to ‘The Boss’, here are my songs of the year. If you’re looking for something to keep you company on a long drive or help you turn up a workout, I hope there’s a track or two in here that does the trick,” Obama wrote on his Twitter page.

Toast also returns from Obama’s summer playlist, which was released on Spotify in August.

Several breakout stars made the former President’s list, including Lil Nas X, Lizzo, DaBaby and Summer Walker.

Burna Boy and his Afrobeats hit Anybody, as well as Reggaeton superstar Ozuna and his Baila Baila Baila remix also made Obama’s 2019 songs of the year list.
