Koffee’s ‘Rapture’ reaches silver status in the UK

Reggae artiste Koffee

Koffee’s hit track Rapture has been certified silver in the United Kingdom by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).
The track received the BRIT certification on Friday, August 6, which coincidentally was the day that her native Jamaica celebrated the anniversary of its independence from the UK.

Released in 2019, the track now follows in the footsteps of her breakthrough hit Toast which has also been certified by the BPI, reaching gold status.

Rapture was one of the five tracks on her eponymous Grammy award-winning EP. Her history-making album made Koffee the first female to win a Grammy award in the reggae category.

Following the success of the track, she subsequently released a remix of the hit with fellow dancehall star, Govana.
