More than three decades after its release, Bob Marley continues to lead the reggae charts with his iconic album, Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Legend will wrap 2020 as the best-selling reggae album, according to Billboard magazine which released its annual year-end charts yesterday, December 3.
The 14-track album has spent 47 weeks atop the chart since January.
Additionally, Legend finished third on the Catalog Albums Chart and also makes an appearance on the Vinyl Albums, Top R&B Albums and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts.
Legend, which has sold more than 33 million copies since its 1984 release, includes classic hits such as No Woman No Cry and Could You Be Loved.
Other artistes who made the cut include Popcaan, Koffee, Shaggy and Sean Paul.
Koffee’s 2019 Grammy Award-winning EP Rapture was 10th on the chart while Popcaan’s Fixtape, which failed to make the cut for next year’s awards, was 8th.
