Lisa Hanna returns after social media break: “Here’s to new beginnings”

Lisa Hanna has returned to social media after more than a month off her platforms.

Jamaican Member of Parliament Lisa Hanna has returned to Instagram after a month-long hiatus.

The former Miss World shared a picture of herself smiling, clad in a white button down shirt and grey pants with the caption, “The old saying: “good things come to those who wait” is just that – old!

“Good things come to those who get up and go after them!”

She finished with, “Here’s to new beginnings …”

Hanna, a four-term Member of Parliament for St Ann South Eastern, went dark on the platform on November 7, following her loss in the People’s National Party’s presidential election.

While it’s unclear if the two are related, many speculated that the embattled MP, who’s been considered a polarising figure in the party, was taking a break to regroup.

Others wondered if the communications was ill, having missed the swearing in ceremony of the PNP’s new president Mark Golding due to severe chest cold and sinus complications last month.

Regardless of the reason for her departure, her followers were happy to see the return of the beloved personality.

One commented, “We missed you”, while another added “O Loard, I was dying to see a post fr my PM Lisa Hanna love you so much”.

A third shared that they missed Hanna’s inspiring quotes, while welcoming her back to the platform.
