Macka Diamond under fire for ‘blasphemous’ stunt

It’s just as fans feared, Macka Diamond’s much-publicised ‘deliverance’ was just for show. Or at least a music video.

Dancehall artiste Macka Diamond

The artiste shared images of herself, tied to a cross no less, to Instagram whith the caption, “Dem no stop crucify me just like Jesus dem a #wickedheart but a prayers me use and #setmefree”.

The post comes just days after a clip of Macka Diamond being anointed by New York pastor Leslie Morgan surfaced on social media.

The clip drew the ire of many social media users who accused her of being disingenuous and staging a stunt.

However, some came to her defence, stating that it could not be for a music video as “You can’t play with God these kind of way”.

But after today’s post, many have criticised Macka Diamond for her questionable creative choice.

One commented, “From me see this scrolling I said this too far very distasteful”.

Another shared, “Macka WTF is wrong with you? Don’t tell me how you’re getting rid of your haters and this and that. That right there is straight up blasphemy.”

Yet another said, “Dancehall gone to the dogs trust mi! Pure mix up. Who do this and that. Who hate who … we need good music …cant take the bag of bickering everyday”.
