Masicka’s ‘438’ Spends Third Week On Billboard Reggae Albums chart

For the third straight week, Masicka’s debut album 438, has made it to the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. Coming in at number 10 this week, the project continues to prove that the deejay’s work is not only being noticed but is generating all important sales.

When the album was released on December 3, it made its debut n the coveted music chart at number two, bested only by Bob Marley and the Wailer’s Legend album which has held firm in the top spot for a whopping 103 weeks.

In its second week of sales, 438 dropped to number four on the chart. Still the album is fearing far better than other projects released by big named artistes this year. Alkaline’s Top Prize, Spice’s Grammy-nominated album TEN as well as projects from Vybz Kartel and Usain Bolt, only managed to stay on the chart for one week.

Also on the Best Reggae Albums list this week is Shaggy’s Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection which came in at number two, Bob Marley and the Wailers’ Exodus held the number three spot this week while Jason Mraz’s Reggae album Love For The Good came in at number four. American band Stick Figure held the number five and six spots respectively with their Set In Stone and World On Fire albums while Sean Paul occupied a total of three spots on the chart. The multi Grammy-winning artiste holds the number seven, eight and nine spots respectively with his albums; The Trinity, Dutty Rock and Mad Love: The Prequel albums.
