Rapper NBA YoungBoy was arrested by the FBI in Los Angeles on Monday (March 22). This occurred after the rapper was reportedly fleeing from LAPD officers after an attempted traffic stop on an outstanding warrant.
According to Baton Rouge’s WBRZ, the 21-year-old rapper, given name Kentrell DeSean Gaulden stopped the car and reportedly took off on foot. The officers then brought in a K-9 unit to track him down.
The police also reportedly found a gun in his vehicle, although it is still unclear if the gun belongs to him.
This is not NBA YoungBoy’s first run-in with the law.
According to Billboard, he was arrested in February last year in Atlanta on a disorderly conduct charge. In June that same year, his Trulondrick Norman was arrested on a second-degree murder charge from a 2016 non-fatal drive-by shooting in Louisiana.
