Sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce recently stunned the world when she won gold in the 100-metre race in Doha, Qatar, and now she is adding author to her long list of accomplishments.
The Olympian recently launched her children’s book, titled I AM A PROMISE. The illustrated storybook highlights the journey of Fraser-Pryce from childhood to winning her first Olympic gold medal when she was only 21 years old.

‘Mommy Rocket’, as she is often called, visited the Penwood Basic School recently where each child received a copy of the book that had been signed by Fraser-Pryce.
The book is currently available for purchase at Sangster Book store. The track star also informed fans that all the proceeds from I AM A PROMISE will be donated to her charity, the Pocket Rocket Foundation.
