If Sean Paul’s recent album is anything to go by, there is a willingness on the part of the platinum-selling artiste to work with others.
Sean Paul’s Live N Livin sees the Grammy-winning artiste collaborate with over twenty artistes on 16-track project. It includes the likes of Buju Banton, Mavado, Bugle, Damian Marley, Skillibeng, Busy Signal and Squash; and also offers a diverse flavour thanks to the inclusion of African talent such as Stonebwoy and Sotto Bless, among others.
Howeve, seems that the DuttyRock lead man is still on the hunt for more collaborations and recently indicated he would like to work with fellow dancehall artiste Jahmiel.
This news has certainly gone down well with the Strongest Soldier singer who took to Instagram to share a video snippet of Sean Paul saying just that in an interview on the Ebro in the Morning podcast.
In the video Sean Paul says, “Also people like Jahmiel, I didn’t work with him on this project but I’ve intended to over the years. Same thing with Bugle, I just worked with him but it’s been years I’ve been wanting to work with him some freestyles I’ve seen him do that are just dope and amazing. So yea everybody on the album I’m working with but you can put Jahmiel in that”.
In the accompanying caption, Jahmiel asks his fans if “y’all ready for a Sean Paul and Jahmiel collab”? This was met with a resounding affirmation with many dropping fire emojis in the comments. One person commented, “Yuh can ask that??? Then nuh muss” while another said, “More than ready”.
Sean Paul’s latest effort has held true recent uttering that he is more into collaborations than confrontations, which followed his indication that he wouldn’t participate in the popular Verzuz battle.
