Shaggy tops Billboard chart with 2000 hit ‘It Wasn’t Me’

Shaggy, Koffee and the late King of Reggae, Bob Marley, register multiple entries on the latest Billboard Reggae Digital Song Sales chart.

It Wasn’t Me, a 2000 hit for Shaggy featuring singer Ricardo ‘Rik Rok’ Ducent, removed Buju Banton’s Trust from the No. 1 spot. It Wasn’t Me has been on the chart for 517 weeks, and 107 of those have been spent at No. 1.

Shaggy debuts at No. 3 three with an interpretation of Silent Night featuring British rocker Sting. He is also positioned at No. 4 with Angel, a 2001 hit featuring Rayvon. Boombastic by Shaggy is at No. 13.

Koffee is on the chart with Toast and W.

Koffee has two entries. Her international hit Toast is at No. 2 and is spending its 47th week on the chart. She debuts at No. 8 with W featuring Atlanta rapper Gunna.

Bob Marley & the Wailers are at No. 5 with Three Little Birds, and No. 12 with Is This Love.

Former chart-toppers Trust by Buju Banton and Slow Down by Skip Marley featuring HER are at No. 6 and 9, respectively.

Dumpling (remix) by Stylo G and featuring Sean Paul and Spice, which peaked at No. 3 a few weeks ago, is now down to No. 10.

Over on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart, World On Fire by Stick Figure is No. 1. There are two new entries, Be Still by Green Lion Crew at No. 6 and Strictly the Best Vol 60 at No. 3.
