Jamaican athlete Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has another award to squeeze into an already bulging trophy case.
She was recently awarded as the Best Female Athlete at the inaugural Panam Sports Awards in Lima, Peru. She was joined on stage by her son Zyon as she collected her latest award.
The 32-year-old Fraser-Pryce had a stellar 2019 upon returning to the track after becoming a mom, to win double gold at the World Championships held in Doha, Qatar.
She also starred on her first appearance at the Pan American Games, setting a women’s 200m record of 22.43 sec in the process of securing gold.
