Shenseea and Buju collab brewing?

We should all know by now that reggae-roots singer Buju Banton is readying the upcoming album, Upside Down 2020, but will Shenseea be on it?

Buju Banton’s album ‘Upside Down 2020’ will be released later this month.

That’s what some social media users are speculating following a boomerang on Shenseea’s Instagram story where she is seen recording at Buju’s Gargamel Studio while he sits on a sofa.

The Romeich Entertainment first lady also posted photos with the ‘Wanna Be Loved’ artiste, humbly captioned, “One a di wisest.”

Scores of fans have since dropped their thoughts on the post, ranging from fire emojis to eager collaboration wishes.

Shenseea shared a boomerang video of herself recording at Buju’s studio to her IG story.

“We need a song with both of you on it,” one user said.

“Do I sense a collab coming out?” another user asked.

“Another big hit loading,” said one fan.

“Great minds think alike, birds of a feather flock together,” rounded off another.

The photos come a day after Banton sent Twitter in a frenzy announcing the release of a collaboration with his “good friend” on May 8. The song will be featured on Banton’s upcoming album expected for release this month.

Buju’s album will be released on Jay-Z’s Rock Nation label.

American singer John Legend retweeted the post causing many to deem him the collaborator. The two recorded the track ‘Can’t Be My Lover’ in 2008, a year before Banton’s legal woes.

‘Upside Down 2020’ will be his first album since being released from the McRae Correctional Facility in the United States in 2018, where he served a 10-year sentence on drug-related charges.

The album will be released on Jay-Z’s Rock Nation imprint, and Island Records.
