After taking some much-needed time off to sort through a critical health issue, dancehall princess, Shenseea is back! And in fine style if we do say so ourselves.

In a partnership that sees her teaming up with internationally renowned producer, Rvssian yet again, the Shenyeng Boss dropped a fresh new single with a mesmerizing lover’s vibe that is bound to have you in your feelings.

Dubbed You’re The One I Love, the single was released on Friday and based on the look and sound, Shenseea seems to have her sights set on nabbing a cross-over hit.

Just in time for the holidays, the enchanting music video directed by Xtreme Arts is as visually captivating as it is melodically enthralling. Now BUZZ fam, we’re not sure if Shenseea is in love but by the lyrics and delivery of the song, don’t be surprised if she was singing about a special someone.

The song seems well on its way to becoming a favourite from the Trending Gyal artiste as since its release, the video has ammased a whopping 400,000 views and climbing. In just over 24 hours, the single has climbed into the top 20 list of songs trending on YouTube in Jamaica. It currently occupies the number 15 spot.

As Shenseea continues to prepare her fans for her highly-anticipated debut album, the singer is consistently putting in the work when it comes to new music. You’re The One I Love follows on the heels of the release of Run Run and Be Good, the only other singles released by the entertainer this year. Run Run released back in July currently has over 6.7 million views on YouTube while Be Good which was released in August has just over 4 million views.

Shenseea also has collaborations with international Hip-Hop star, Kanye West. She was featured on two singles from his Grammy-nominated album, DONDA. Because the album has been nominated in the Album of the year category for the 2021 Grammy awards, Shenseea has earned herself her first nomination. She also won her first MOBO Award for Best Reggae Act last weekend.
