Skillibeng continues to prove his dancehall prowess, racking up over a million views of his recent controversial music video, Coke, in just two days.
The EastSyde artiste drew criticism from some corners after he shot the video about illicit substance at the site of a small plane crash in Clarendon, Jamaica.
It wasn’t just that the video was shot at the location, which was recently under police investigation, many took issue with the artiste being on the aircraft, especially with so much still unknown about its origin, destination and occupants.
However, true to his growing reputation as current and topical, Skillibeng released the video on February 1, a week after the incident occurred.
It quickly became a hit among dancehall fans who helped spur its popularity, gaining over a million views on YouTube in two short days. At the time of publishing, it has received just under 1.4 million views.
