Spice is the new Magnum Brand Ambassador

Female deejay Spice has signed on as Brand Ambassador for iconic beverage Magnum Tonic Wine. The announcement was made on Wednesday night at a media launch held at the Mas Camp, St Andrew.

At the launch, Magnum representatives outlined plans for its Christmas promotion among other activities to commemorate its 20th anniversary.

Spice, whose real name is Grace Hamilton, is the second Brand Ambassador that Magnum has signed in the last two years. In 2017, the brand signed Ding Dong.

Spice was previously a brand ambassador for Sperone.

Now 37 years old, Spice has been a phenomenon in dancehall for close to  10 years.  In 2009, her collaboration, Ramping Shop, with Vybz Kartel, reached number 76 on the Billboard R&B Hip Hop Songs chart.

She has charted twice on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. In 2014, her EP, So Me Like It, reached number 14, while in 2018 her mixtape, Captured, held the number one spot for one week.

Last year, Spice joined the cast of the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Her controversial single, Black Hypocrisy, topped Billboard’s Reggae Digital Song Sales chart for one week in 2018.
