Popular basketball player, Tristan Thompson allegedly wanted his supposed baby mama, personal trainer Maralee Nichols, to get an abortion.

According to court documents that were obtained by Page Six, Thompson wanted the procedure to be done after finding out Nichols was pregnant earlier this year. Various international news sources have reported that Nichols gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday and if Thompson is the father, this would be the athlete’s third child.

News emerged on Friday that Nichols via her attorney has filed for child support. Her attorney also filed a legal request to submit text messages supposedly sent between her and Thompson as evidence for her paternity lawsuit against him.

Page Six reports that “from the context and substance of these communications, they are from Tristan to Maralee, which reflects that Tristan is addressing the parties’ relationship, and even with respect to her pregnancy insisting that she get an abortion and threatening that she will get next to nothing with lesser support requirements in Texas.”

The court document notes that Thompson denied sending any of the messages but also claims “his contact information is present in the messages.” Thompson admitted to having sex with Nichols several times at a hotel after the pair attended a party together, according to a declaration included in the filing.

Nichols’ attorney declined to comment and attorneys for Thompson haven’t returned numerous request for comment according to Page Six.

Nichols’ baby was allegedly conceived on Thompson’s 30th birthday in March, when he and Khloé Kardashian were said to still be dating.

In documents also obtained by Page Six, Thompson appears to have filed for a paternity test and has indicated that if the child is his, he would pay child support.
