Cardi B earns 5th Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 with ‘Up’

Cardi B is up and it seems to be stuck!

The Bronx rapper extends her record for the most Hot 100 No. 1s among female rappers after scoring her fifth chart-topper with Up.

Cardi B’s Up takes the top position after it surged from No. 6 to No. 1 after first hitting the chart five weeks ago.

Up was driven by 22.7 million streams in the US and 18,000 downloads, an increase fo 96 per cent. Radio airplay also jumped seven per cent to 34.9 million audience impressions over the tracking week

The track’s upward move comes after Cardi B performed the song as part of a medley with Megan Thee Stallion at the Grammy Awards a week ago.
