Dancehall artiste Vershon has released his first major effort after inking a deal with music powerhouse Warner Music UK through its Parlophone subsidiary.

Vershon signed the deal recently, the clearest indication that he’s ready to expand his career to the international level. He also confirmed that this is the first record deal that he has signed.

In relation to the deal, Vershon has described the development in his music career as “excellent”. He shared, “Warner Music is an established international label, so that is an excellent move for me. I can see where things can happen internationally for my career.”

Vershon teamed up with the likes of the FaNaTiX to put together the tracks, also working with Plan B on the track Stick By Me. The album also features Jamaican act Busy Signal and grime artiste Chip.

The Inna Real Life artiste released Only One, a six-track EP with production credits by Saints Music, in early March following the deal. He previously released another EP, One More Day, independently.
