As a small business owner, WhatsApp wants to help you get your products out.
The messaging app recently upgraded their business version to allow business owners to catalogue their products and services to showcase to customers.
Through a feature called Catalogs, business owners on Android and iPhone mobile devices can now put up mobile storefronts where they can list a product or service, put in details such as photos, prices and descriptions to share with customers.
By the way, customers do not have to have the business app to be able to browse the product listings.
According to WhatsApp, this feature is being rolled out in a phased basis and is now available in Brazil, Germany, India, the US, Mexico, Indonesia and the UK. However, there are plans to make it available around the world in short order.
The messaging app launched its business-themed version of the app in 2018 to provide entrepreneurs with more business-friendly interactions.
