Bounty Killer hints that he’ll retire at 60

Dancehall veteran Bounty Killer says that he’s got another solid ten years in the music business.

Killer who is gearing up for his 50th birthday come June 2022, told a fan on Instagram that he has plans to retire in 2031.

The veteran deejay described himself as, “revitalized, realigned and recharged” adding that while he knew he would retire, he had no idea what he would take on during retirement.

“I’m revitalized realigned and recharged.  It’s gonna be musical magic I got 10yrs more in music after that I’m not sure what I will be doing but for this anchor leg it’s all venom,” Killer said in response to a fan who flooded him with praises, noting that he believed 2022 would be a good year for the artiste.

Born Rodney Price, Bounty Killer, burst on to the music scene in the 90s. Since the 90s , he has been a staple within the industry, known most for his lyrical prowess.

Killer’s delayed King of Kingston album is expected to be released in 2022.
