Model Chrissy Teigen returned to social media on Saturday, almost two weeks after announcing that she lost her baby.
Teigen, who is also a cookbook author, didn’t make a post. She was only responding to a quote shared on Instagram by Kara Morehart. The post said: “Just booked an eyebrow waxing appointment and I’m excited I’ll be wearing a mask so I don’t have to hear ‘mustache too?'”
Teigen responded: “Finally, a giggle. Thank you.” And Betches replied: “It is an honor and a privilege.”
This is probably the first time that Teigen has been seen on social media since September 30 when she shared the tragic news of her loss.
Teigen, who was put on bed rest before being hospitalised, had been having a difficult pregnancy. However, she remained optimistic even when doctors said that a blood transfusion would be required.
“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough,” she said after losing the baby.
“Driving home from the hospital with no baby. How can this be real,” she tweeted later that day.
The baby, who she had named Jack, would have been her third child with singer John Legend. Their two children are Luna, 4, and Miles, 2.
