Elaine Thompson-Herah gave herself the ultimate birthday gift over the weekend when she qualified for her second Olympic Games. And on Monday (June 28) as she officially celebrates her 29th birthday, the double Olympic champion feels grateful more than anything else.
“What more could I have asked for. My biggest gift is waking up this morning giving thanks and praise to God for another beautiful day on this earth. For making my second “Olympic Team” all praises to God Jeremiah 29:11-13🙏🏾. Happy birthday to me 🎈🍾. HERAH(hero&fighter),” she captioned a post on her Instagram account.
Her post was immediately flooded wit fans and athletes sending their congratulations.

Despite been hampered by a sore Achilles tendon, Thompson Herah finished third in both the 100 and 200 metres, posting a time of 10.84 and 22.02 seconds respectively.
