Home Alone fans who have long wished to live the ‘carefree’ life of Kevin McCallister will be able to do exactly that this Yuletide season.

Come December 7, fans will be able to book a stay in the film’s iconic house for US $25.

According to BBC News, the house which was home to the McCallister family in the 1990 Christmas classic – has been made available on Airbnb for one night only.

“You may not remember me as particularly accommodating. But I’ve grown up, and I’d be happy to share my family home – my pizza, even – with you this holiday season.”

Guests will be greeted on arrival by Devin Ratray, who played Kevin McCallister’s older brother Buzz.

“You may not remember me as particularly accommodating,” Buzz is quoted as saying in the press release.

“But I’ve grown up, and I’d be happy to share my family home – my pizza, even – with you this holiday season. Just try not to let my tarantula, Axl, loose this time.”

The successful applicants will be able to stay overnight at the Chicago residence on December 12. It is available for a maximum of four guests.
