Former Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak has died

Former Egyptian president, Hosni Mubarak has died at 91-years-old.

Mubarak ruled Egypt for 30 years, before stepping down in 2011, following the anti-government Arab Spring protests.

He was then tried and acquitted of all graft charges.

State TV said he died in hospital after undergoing surgery, but gave no further details.

His death has been met with three days of mourning.
