The cause of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and eight others may be revealed on Tuesday, a year after the tragic incident.
Safety officials are expected to announce the likely cause after numerous lawsuits have attempted to reveal the case.
Bryant, his daughter Gianna, 13, and six passengers, along with the pilot, Ara Zobayan, died on January 26, 2020 after the helicopter they were travelling in crashed in the Calabasas hill in Los Angeles, California.
Subsequent investigations revealed there was no sign of mechanical failure, with the National Transportation Safety Board staying it’s believed to be an accident.
Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, sued the pilot and the companies that owned and operated the helicopter for negligence and wrongful deaths while the families of the victims had sued the companies but not the pilot.
