It was only a matter of time before Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with America’s own sovereign, Oprah Winfrey.
Confirmation of an interview between the royals and the ‘queen of television’, Winfrey, came from CBS today.
Dubbed Oprah With Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special, the 90-minute interview will cover a range of topics with it airs on March 7.
“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” according to CBS. “Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”
Winfrey attended the wedding of Megan and Harry in 2018, and is actually a neighbour of the couple who moved Stateside last year after stepping down from royal duties.
It’s an exciting time for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after it was revealed yesterday that they are expecting their second child.
