Reggae singer Purple D’Lyte is in high spirits as she prepares for the launch of her debut album, Nature’s Love.

“I’m very excited about my upcoming album launch. This project has been in the works for a while now. I’m really looking forward to it,” said Purple D’Lyte, who was born in Spain but is now based in Jamaica.

Nature’s Love was produced by Afrikan Bump Muzik Productions and Alone Productions.

“We took an old-school approach with this project.”

The album, which was released on September 12, features songs such as the title track Nature’s Love, Rebel Up, Chant and Heal, Plastic Plot, Poor Man and Time Has Come.

“We took an old-school approach with this project. It features six vocal tracks and six dub versions. It’s available on all formats including MP3, CD and vinyl. Videos accompany all the vocal tracks,” said the artiste.

After the album is launched, Purple D’Lyte and her band, the Raw Bitz, will leave the island for a promotional tour of Spain and the UK.

“I’m scheduled to travel to Spain in October for a series of shows, and in November I will travel from Spain to the UK to promote the album,” she said.

The album launch will take place on September 28 at Cheffing Don (Throw Stones), Mannings Hill Road, St Andrew.
