Tory Lanez defends music streams: Rapper quiet about shooting allegations

Tory Lanez has been quiet about allegations that he shot Megan Thee Stallion, but he was very quick to defend his music sales.

Canadian entertainer Tory Lanez

The Canadian entertainer was the talk of the town a few months ago when he launched ‘Quarantine Radio’, entertaining many people from around the world via Instagram.

His streaming numbers climbed to between 20 million and 30 million in June. However, after Megan accused the rapper of shooting her on July 12, his numbers fell big time.

According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, he is now getting around nine million streams.

When those numbers were shared by HotNewHipHop, Tory was quick on the draw, responding to them via Twitter.

“Lmao that’s such a lie. 40% where?!! I have twenty-seven million monthly listeners on Spotify currently,” he said.

Meanwhile, Tory is currently on bail after being charged with suspicion of possession of a concealed weapon following the shooting incident in July.
