Retired sprinter Usain Bolt has partnered with Food for The Poor Jamaica and RE/MAX Elite to build a home for Sean Sutherland, who lost his house in a fire in July.
Sutherland operates a stall just outside the Food for the Poor office in Ellerslie Pen, St Catherine, and he lives nearby.
In a video that was posted on Usain Bolt’s Instagram page on Thursday, Sutherland said: “This is the best birthday gift I could ever receive in my life, and I am so thankful and grateful for it.”

He also thanked Bolt, Food for the Poor and RE/MAX Elite for the kind gesture.
The house was built at a cost of US$7,600. Bolt donated half of the money.
