Chadwick Boseman’s hometown of Anderson, South Carolina is already working on a statue to pay tribute to the “Black Panther” star, according to TMZ
A spokesperson for Mayor Terence Roberts’ Office in Anderson, told the news outlet that, “The city is enthusiastically working on a permanent public tribute to honor the late actor.”
According to TMZ, the City has already contacted an artist and they’re brainstorming ideas on how best to honor the hometown hero who played legendary roles. We’re told the statue will include a mix of sculpture with mural and/or art elements.
However, the source conceded they don’t have plans nailed down but said it be something fit for a king, and will be made with the city’s output.
