Warren Buffett is now worth US$100 billion, and still isn’t in the world’s Top 5

The wealthy just keep getting wealthier!

Warren Buffett joined an exclusive club today after his wealth soared to US$100 billion.

The Berkshire Hathaway investor is now the sixth richest man in the world, with his net worth putting him just below Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, according to Bloomberg’s Billionaire Index.

The world’s uber rich is led by Amazon’s Jeff Bezos who is valued at US$180 billion). He is followed by Elon Musk of Tesla (US$173 billon), who has traded places with him as the richest person on earth on several occasions in recent weeks.

Bill Gates of Microsoft (US$138 billion), Bernard Arnault of luxury goods conglomerate LVMH (US$122 billion)and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg (US$101 billion) round out the top five.
