Harry and Meghan interview drew 50 million people…and counting

The numbers keep coming in, but roughly 50 million people tuned in to see Oprah Winfrey interview Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The interview, which will be rerun by CBS this Friday, pulled 49.1 million people across 17 countries. However, with CBS licensing the two-hour special in over 80 countries, and not all ratings yet in, the final count will surely be higher.

The explosive sit-down drew almost 18 million people in the US, with another 13.3 million coming from Britain.

The interview saw Markle discuss her struggles within the Royal Family and detailed her suicidal thoughts, treatment by British media and racist conversations around her and her son, Archie.
